Late
18th century, Directoire, or Regency costume is admired but
not
required (The year is 1792 but we won’t hold you to that) and, as
usual, modern
evening dress is also welcome (Sir Percy has just invented it, after
all!).
Bangers
& Mash plays an evening of dashing and elegant 18th
century
French and English country dances and waltzes.
Not familiar with the scandalous new turning Valse? Need to
brush up on
your country dance technique? Not know a
jeté boureé from a hey for four? Fear not. There will be
a pre-ball workshop in
18th century country dance and early Waltz (And never fear:
All
country dances will be briefly taught and called during the ball).
